Honeypie Tearoom began as pop up tearooms in my local park pavilion. Spurred on by the enthusiasm and positive feedback of those who came, I made the decision to leave my job with the council, and start work on very dilapidated curry house in the area of Sheffield I have lived for the last 20 years, to transform it into what has been a dream of mine since going to cake competitions at the village W.I. with my granny!

I wanted to create a cosy, family friendly tearoom, with no mugs, just real china cups and saucers where people could come and enjoy the ceremony of taking tea, not just grab a takeaway cup. We now stock 12 loose leaf teas, make fresh scones and cakes daily in the Honeypie kitchen, as well as light lunches, homemade soups, sandwiches/paninis and of course our 3 options of afternoon tea, beautifully presented on china cake stands.
